Like many people around me, I used to be obese. In fact, I weighed over 300 pounds! At first, I thought it was normal, since so many people around me were also overweight.

However, everything changed on the evening of June 18, 2009… I was just back from work when suddenly, I felt a strong, sharp pain in my chest. The pain was so excruciating that I had to call the ambulance… At the hospital, doctors revealed to me that one of my blood vessels was almost clogged, and I had to immediately undergo an emergency operation in order to save my life…

After the ordeal, my doctor advised me to start losing weight or I will suffer the dire consequences. In other words, I had to do something immediately, or I was going to die. And at that moment, I realized I couldn’t RISK my future because I still had a lot of things in life to look forward to.

So with my new found motivation, I tried all kinds of ways to start losing those pounds, even to the extent of starving myself at a point of time. As expected, none of them worked…

After trying out many different diets and still failing to lose weight, I was frustrated and on the verge of giving up.
